For more than 12 months Mike’s wife Jackie, and several other accomplices, secretly planned a surprise 50th birthday. A large number of family members, friends and musicians had to be invited without Mike’s knowledge, and to join the 1920’s theme.
As far as Mike was concerned 3 in a Bar had been booked to play at the 25th wedding anniversary of a couple Mike and Jackie know well.
As Mike planned the gig with the band, alternative arrangements where made with about 70 guests. And it all worked a treat!
